This was our last "Ellie" dinner. Last map meeting. Plans were being made to get together for the last 10 miles tomorrow so we could ride in together, (sort of.) There will be many things we will do together for the last time tomorrow.

Rockport, ME to Bucksport, ME 41 miles 2,585 ft. of climb
It was a short mileage day after a long rainy day, but the hills were possibly more challenging. Barb's Garmin measured 13% on one hill. We had a little rain to begin with, but it was one of those days where the jackets kept coming on and off depending on the shadows vs sun.

6/7/16 Freeport, ME to Rockport, ME 70 miles 4,154 ft of climb rain
We reluctantly left the hotel in Freeport today. It was a wonderful rest day and the accommodations were elegant. The ride today was long with many hills. Rain was predicted but it was not constant. It was a beautiful ride!

Freeport, Maine Rest Day 0 miles
Spent the day exploring the downtown Freeport businesses. Only two blocks away it is distinguished by the fact that many businesses look like houses with small signs. L.L.Bean is there and takes up many large buildings, each with their own specialty, and well as their warehouse for internet orders.
Of course the day included bike/gear cleaning. Kathleen and I found a nice Thai restaurant for a late lunch.
Tomorrow will be a challenging day...65 miles and 4,000 ft of climb.
