Phoenix to Apache Junction 53 miles 3/13/10

We left at 7:30 am, riding through the Phoenix suburbs; Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, Mesa.  I got this photo of Mike at breakfast in the hotel. 

The ride through Phoenix was fast and smooth, taking us through some beautiful residential areas.  

We also had some dedicated park riding through Scottsdale.

The van/trailer had to get fixed again, so we had dinner at a nice restaurant nearby. 

While we were at dinner, Carol showed us the jersey we could get as a souvenir of our Southern Tier ride.

 

Tomorrow is a 48 mile ride to Globe, AZ.
