Sunday, August 11, 2013 Frisco to Edwards

Yesterday we had a "warm up ride" around Lake Dillon.  This ride was more than we expected, because the second part was a challenging climb up to Breckenridge up Swan Mountain bike path!  We ended up back at Frisco.

So today we started from Frisco, up Vail Pass and down to Edwards, kind of our "first day" of riding away from our start town.

Saturday, August 10, 2013 Frisco, Lake Dillon, Breckenridge, Frisco

After this point we started up Swan Pass.  There were lots of switch backs, and very steep climbs.  Did not take any photos.  31 miles & 1,600' of climb round trip from Frisco to Breckenridge.

After lunch in Breckenridge, Sharon and I headed back to Frisco.  The day was more challenging that we were expecting, but the views were amazing!

The hike Jane and I did the day before was not all the way in, and we 'saved' the entire hike for today.

We drove into the historical Minturn Saloon to have an early dinner.
