4-30-15 Palitka to St. Augustine, FL 46 miles

Our last day! Lots of excitement and anticipation for the conclusion of our cross country ride. It seems to have gone so quickly! Many family and friends came to greet us as we rode in the last six miles to St. Augustine two by two with police escort. Dave drove from Minneapolis, and it was so good to see him! After the tire-dipping ceremony we had a picnic with everyone. Then it was our last ride - the three miles to the hotel.

4-29-15 High Springs to Palatka, FL 76 miles

Six of us rode today; Alex, Jude, Judy, Karon, Wendy and myself. The day went quickly, stopping for lunch and discovering a great bike path! Tomorrow we ride the last 49 miles! We will have ridden 3,189 miles from San Diego to St. Augustine!
