3/14/15 Phoenix Rest Day (Pi Day 3.1415) 0 miles

Rest days are reserved for laundry and bike cleaning which most of us did.  There was a bike shop nearby - Exhale Bike shop which has the greatest staff!  The owners are a husband and wife team, Nathaniel and Jesse, who treated the WomanTours riders with extra special attention.  Jill had some extensive work done on her bike that was very impressive!

    I was hoping to read that your flat tires were a thing of the past! I can see why they happen; hopefully you won't be on Interstates (ie with semis) for too much longer. Sure wish we were in Phoenix - would have been lovely to see you! Btw ... love your T-shirt :)

    Thanks for identifying the steel belt strands, Rita. I've had several flats over the years from stuff like this. Sometimes it's almost impossible to find and extract them from the tire carcass.
