4-29-15 High Springs to Palatka, FL 76 miles

Six of us rode today; Alex, Jude, Judy, Karon, Wendy and myself.  The day went quickly, stopping for lunch and discovering a great bike path!  Tomorrow we ride the last 49 miles! We will have ridden 3,189 miles from San Diego to St. Augustine!

4-28-15 Perry to High Springs, FL 76 miles

We are getting close to the end of our journey. Only two more days.   

Our ride today seemed easy since the roads were smooth and flat.  It was raining when we started out, but after a couple of hours we only had overcast skies.  As long as there was no thunderstorms, we ride in the rain.  After all, it is only water, right?

4-27-15 Crawfordville to Perry, FL 54 miles

Nice day riding today with only 54 miles into Perry, Florida.  We had a lot of lumber trucks on the road, and although these rigs try hard to move over, they leave a lot of debris on the shoulder, some of it quite large.  Kept us alert as we rode along!

Alex has been looking for a roadside stand selling rare Tupalo Honey and we found one!  We all stopped, and fortunately Katie stopped with the van and trailer nearby so we were able to load our purchases into the vehicle!
