We left Andover, MN Thursday, Feb 25th at 5:30 am on the first leg of our journey to San Diego. The temp was 5 below! We are carrying Kathy's things to Sacramento in Terri's trailer. (Thanks Terri!)
We have arrived at Paxton, Nebraska at 5:00 PM (SMT) for the night. The drive was very relaxing. We played movies on the DVD, so the time went quickly.
We went to dinner at Olie's Wild Game Restaurant...not that they serve wild game; they have all the wild animals the owner shot all over the world! They pride themselves on getting the first liquor license in Nebraska in 1933 at midnight, the soonest they could open for business after prohibition was lifted!
Looks like a nice day to travel. Nice and sunny. You guys have a wonderful trip together out to CA.

ReplyDeleteHe killed a giraffe! Ooooh, I had a little cry for that...and the elephant too. I guess I am just a big softie. Or maybe not since the other ones didn't get to me as much. You guys are trucking right along. Tailwinds from us both!
