Day 1 of our ride and the air was electrified! We were anxious to get going!
Love the tire dipping pics! And Dave and Shelley ... so wonderful to have them there :) I'm very envious of your ride (do you think I could sneak Chris along??).
Rita - so surprised to see your blog and I will love following it. What made you decide to do the ride again? I loved it, but fear it could never be as exciting as the first time! Let me know. Sparkle
Everyone is so nice...we only have 22 riders. Carol Wilder and Patty Jackson are transitioning a new ride leader and chef. They will be with us only until Phoenix. Katie, the new ride leader has a touring company in Alaska with her husband, and is very capable. Ellen, the chef, makes awesome meals, so we are in good hands. I had such a good time on the last S.Tier that I always wanted to do it again.
Rita I followed the past blogs and did the ride myself with WomanTours last year. I can understand doing it a second time. I will live vicariously through you for the next two months! Enjoy!
Rita, I am glad that you got the first day under you belt. It's all mostly downhill from here. I am sure you will have a memorable experience. I can't wait until I can do it myself in a short time. I'll be following along via the web.

ReplyDeleteBubba's Pampered Cyclists have openings for next year's Southern Tier...they do camp, however. : )
DeleteInspiring! Going to pull out my trainer out to see if my lungs are ready for a ride!! Enjoy😀!
